i see you [2]
when you are
fully empty of lustre -
a time usually reserved
for moving in the shadows
imagine you
in view
in all your “nothingness”
with many a someone
thrilled to see you
in this light—
Watching the crowds cheer for the August 12th solar eclipse stirred my heart. I consider it an extra special treat for a new moon to be visible. That part of the moon cycle typically trains me to visit my inner knowing. Reflecting no sunlight, the new moon gives me nothing to gawk at. No proof. No performance. I just have to hold onto my appreciation, knowing that even though I can’t see her, that doesn’t mean she isn’t still beautiful.
I hope you have (or ARE) at least one someone who reminds you that you are lovable - even at times when you supposedly have “nothing” going on. Those are times many people go into hiding. I’m sending you love, appreciating how complete you still are, even when we can’t see you.
And you can indeed pop out during that time if you choose to.

New opportunities to just be - as long as we are here, over and over again. Wonderful! ✨
